Main group - transition metal cooperativity

Besides investigating the chemical properties and reactivities of geometrically constrained main group species we are also interested in their properties as ligands. The planarisation of main group elements by redox-active ligands unlocks unique bonding interactions and reaction pathways that we aim to exploit for small molecule activation reactions in the future.
